Description: The Forest Service (FS) is considering a land exchange with Western Pacific Timber. The FS would receive approx. 40,000 acres of WPT land in the upper Lochsa River drainage and WPT would recieve an equal value of Forest Service land in north Idaho.

Location: UNIT - Sandpoint Ranger District, Palouse Ranger District, North Fork Ranger District, Powell Ranger District, Clearwater Ranger District, Red River Ranger District. STATE - Idaho. COUNTY - Benewah, Bonner, Clearwater, Idaho, Kootenai, Latah. The lands to acquire are in the upper Lochsa River drainage on the border of ID and MT. The federal lands to exchange out of are scattered on the Idaho Panhandle, Clearwater, and Nez Perce NF's.

Description: This project proposes to decommission the last 5.45 miles of Road 111 to reduce watershed and aquatic impacts. This section of road bisects the North Fork of Spruce/White Sands Roadless Area.

Location: UNIT - Powell Ranger District. STATE - Idaho. COUNTY - Idaho. LEGAL - T36N, R15E, Sections 6, 8, 9, 15, 16 and 22 Road 111 intersects Highway 12 approximately 2 miles east of Powell, Idaho. This gravel surfaced road is 11.6 miles long.
