Description: An outbreak of spruce budworm in recent years has caused extensive mortality and fuels buildup. The most affected areas are in stands of balsam fir and spruce. Project proposes activities to restore areas via forest restoration and fuels reduction.

Description: This Trail segment is part of the North Country Hiking Trail. It is in need of reconstruction in some areas to improve trail surface, rutting and ponding issues. A segment of trail will be rerouted and a foot bridge placed to avoid a step area.
