Description: Proposal for biological and chemical treatments to suppress infestations of hemlock woolly adelgid, a non-native insect that is killing hemlock trees on the Forest.

Description: Proposed vegetation alteration and wildlife habitat enhancement on an estimated 140 acres. The project would create grassy and early-successional habitat, reduce the mid-story to diversify forest structure and composition, and enhance native grasses.

Description: The Forest proposes establishing up to 50 small wetlands on mountain ridges to provide habitat for many animal and plant species. The wetlands would be up to .3 acres in size.
Location: UNIT - White Sulphur Ranger District. STATE - West Virginia. COUNTY - Greenbrier. Sites are scattered throughout Greenbrier County, largely north of Anthony Creek and Blue Bend Recreation Area.
