Craggy Vegetation Management

This project proposes actions to reduce fuels and manage vegetation in order to improve defensibility and resiliency to wildfires, to protect communities, to promote forest health, to improve early seral and late-successional habitat for deer, turkey and the northern spotted owl, to improve sensitive plant species habitat, and to reduce sedimentation of streams by addressing legacy sediment sites; in lands near Yreka, CA on about 11,000 acres. National Forest System lands one to nine miles northwest of Yreka, CA. Humbug Creek (180102060801) and Yreka Creek (180102070702) 6th field watersheds.
