Lake Mountain Foxtail Pine Special Interest Area Restoration Project

Cutting and hand piling encroaching small red firs (<10" dbh) from foxtail pine trees on appx. 37 acres within the botanical Special Interest Area. Project also includes pile burning and planting foxtail pine seedlings. NCWQCB cat. A waiver.

Location Summary

Five miles southwest of Hamburg, CA, on Lake Mountain, in the Walker Creek 7th field watershed (HUC 18010206110305).
