Description: The Leech Lake Band is requesting vehicle access to and insertion of a geoprobe into the ground at 20, 60, and 80 foot depths to collect water samples near Pike Bay. All disturbances will be restored and work would occur during frozen conditions.
Location: UNIT - Walker Ranger District. STATE - Minnesota. COUNTY - Cass. LEGAL - NW1/4, Section 14, T. 145N, R. 31W, Cass County, MN The parcel is located east of the channel connecting Pike Bay and Cass Lake; within the Leech Lake Reservation.
